FF13 に「ジャマー」という弱体・妨害系ロールがある。「邪魔」と掛けていて上手い
jeer「嘲（あざけ）る，あざ笑う（jeer at... または jeer ...）」
“Send satirists and men of evil nature from us to Cuchulain,” said Meave to her attendants, “and let them jeer him in his weakness, saying to him that Conor will be routed, Ulster put to shame, and Fergus slain while he is lying on his couch in idleness. Let him not think that it is we who send, but his own people jeering at his wounds.”

jerk「ぐいと動かす，急に動かす・動く」
A little gray squirrel was always running up and down the tree, jerking his tail and hurrying to tell the news to every one along the way.
小さな灰色のリスがしゅっちゅうユグドラシルの木を登ったり降りたりしていて，尻尾を振り振りして途中に出会う誰にでも新しい知らせを語っていました（Asgard Stories 2）
jog「ジョギングする」
join「……に加わる，……と繋がる，……を繋ぐ」
加わる先は1人でも複数でも良い（Join me. / Join us.）
自動詞用法もあり。join in the discussion
joke「冗談を言う」
joke は名詞にもなる
jolt「揺れる，揺する，衝撃を与える」
FF14 赤魔道士に「ジョルト」という魔法がある。「ショック」みたいな意味か
judge「判断する，判決を下す，審査・鑑定する」
judge O by [on, from] P「P で［P から］ O を判断する」
judging from the look of the sky「空模様から判断すると」
judge that...「……であると判断する」
judge whether...「……かどうか判断する」
judge O (to be) C「O が C であると判断する」
judge O C「O が C であると判決を下す（judge him guilty）」
jump「跳ぶ，飛び出す（out），飛び乗る（on），飛びつく（at, to），さっと動く，びくっとする，跳び越える，（ページや段落を）飛ばす」
jump at...「襲い掛かる，（機会）に飛びつく」
jump in...「割り込む，飛び乗る」
jump on the bandwagon「時流に乗る，勝ち馬に乗る」（「寄らば大樹」的行動）
